Overview: Using Creator Voice to Tell a Bigger Chain Story
The #AptosSummer campaign was designed to introduce new audiences to Aptos through content that felt personal, story-driven, and credible. Select creators were invited to highlight Aptos as the most underrated chain gaining real traction, focusing on its DeFi presence, policy relevance, stablecoins, and real-world assets. Shelby acted as a creative entry point, helping creators bridge into the more technical story in a way that felt natural and native to their usual content.
Challenge: Making a Layer 1 Chain Feel Worth Talking About
Web3 creator content can easily feel dry, promotional, or overly speculative. The challenge here was telling the Aptos story without leaning on token hype or investment language, while still hitting topics like stablecoin traction, DeFi momentum, and policy legitimacy. The messaging had to be clear, compliant, and creator-friendly, without being watered down.
Solution: Creator-Led Storytelling, with Shelby as the Hook
We partnered with 7 creators across YouTube and TikTok. Each one was tasked with producing two pieces of content that used Shelby to open, then transitioned into deeper commentary on the Aptos ecosystem. From exploring real-world asset narratives to highlighting Aptos’ DC presence, creators were given the flexibility to tell the story their way, while still hitting core campaign talking points.
Our Results:
